You don't need a name to confirm it, i told you everything there is to know about it and you for some strange reason still feel that it isn't true. And for that your only cure is to call them and see if what i told you matches up with what they offer. Your saying I'm a liar well a person who has never gone to these clubs would not know anything about it right?. So just call and ask and for that you DONT need my name, i don't want to give it the same reason madmonk don't want to give his. You don't want to accept it so bad till you post that I googled my info, comon now these clubs are less the 9 miles from where i live. I don't know what else i can give you. you have EVERY phone number to every dojang/kickboxing gym i gave you. And for you to be so much older then me, don't you think you should act it and stop the kids game about kool aid?. what age to people really be before they grow up?. To insult me to the degree that you have and not even gave it a shot to call or confirm what i gave, it is ignorant dude. And i do find it funny that you think i copy'ed and pasted my info. I don't think anyone here would go that far just to prove to you guy's *who i will never see in real life or talk to* to take the time to find it on google, and BTW i use yahoo search engine anyways lol google sux. You said you would not tell anyone my name but just now you said you will post all of our PMS we had chatting if you had too. And that's why i never told my name, because you told me as well that you would not spread my gym info around. And you just went back on your word, what grantee do i have that you wont give my name out?.

    1) Okay fine, your opinion is noted. Again what would I ask the gyms if I called them. You have given me nothing of specifics that I could actually call a gym, any of them, let alone the ATF that I could turn into a legitamate question. I call you a liar based on the two lies that you have told, and only on those two, the others can't be substantiated. I can't visit the gyms that you train at as the logistics are ridiculous for me to do that, hence the possibility of a phone call. Easy enough to do, takes very little time, and would clear up everything easily.

    2) I have yet to post anything about where you train or what gyms you train with. MadMonk even asked if I would share the info with him and I haven't. To clarify why I posted the PM you sent me I refer you to the original reply I sent you regarding your original PM to me.

Followed by my notice that if you don't retract the statement you made regarding fighting on professional level I would post what you said. I gave you plenty of time to do it, and you offered no reply in terms of asking me not to, or even posting a retract on the statement.

Again please note I have yet to post anything of specifics that you have sent me. If you think that I would actually post an actual name then that is your discretion, but please note that I am not MadMonk and his claims or lack of, etc . . . are of no relevance to our discussion.

To further illustrate your logic I would like to point out that I train at this location.
Legends Mixed Martial Arts Training Center
    1626 N. La Brea Ave
    Hollywood, CA 90028
    323.230.7669
I attend the Monday, Wednesday, Friday MMA classes as well as the Tuesday and Thursday evening Juijitsu classes. Feel free to call them and confirm my attendance at the gym.

Again the burden of proof was on your shoulders. I invite you to simply say that you wish not to continue making the claims and personally I'm okay with that and hopefully we can have a good discussion about something that is a little bit more constructive.

I would like to pose a question to the others reading the thread and let them make the judgement decision. Have I treated etaku unfairly and in sort of manner? Have I acted in a nature not befitting my age of a young 27 with either my rhetoric or attitude towards the topic at hand? Would any of you trust me with your name in terms of not releasing it to the general public if that was not your wish?

PS: Kool-aid fetish . . . well it is called a joke, I suggest you turn your humour switch on, or at least have it looked at by a certified humourologist.

PPS: If you can find out what Jonathan Swift thinks of Yahoos then a gold star for you.

No, you've tolerated him more than most I'd say.

    No.

I would, but then making you swear to keep mine private would be a bit pointless....

    Oh, and Mav....

Okay I'll be immature then . . . you big doody head.

Again, you've had every chance to back up your claims, I've even offered public apologies when evidence is provided, but I suppose I am acting immature so I apolgize for that then

As for as my humour and kool-aid fetish . . . well some people get it, some people don't. Humour is based more on opinion than on cold facts, but meh . . . I'm immature so I enjoy poop jokes.

To Maverick et al. Please continue with the "pornography"
This thread amuses me on so many levels.

    Yes.

    Right here:

It's pretty plain for everyone to see who has been honest in this thread and who hasn't.

So, when are you going to start backup your claims??

I give you the point where we haven't verified if Madmonk has participate in the match he named; but, he is still ahead of you - at least we know the name of the tournament he claims to be participated in.

    Umm let me guess...

Next reply of etaku would be quoting Madmonk, still saying that it can't be verified, completely ignores the point where he haven't providing names (Of the match/tournament.) to verify his claims anyway.

Nope i never lied at all, i said i was at a professional level meaning, i have fought professional kickboxers. Never said i was a professional KICKBOXER. Don't blame me for your assumptions. I just put the bait out and you bit. And as far as wolf go i don't know him, his words means nothing to me. Practice what you preach and handle your own affairs before yelling at me about proof and supply me with some real proof, other then wolfs word.

P.S New Guy because you feel the need to dip in, I have a question for you. Were you ****ed when Steve Irwin died?. I just noticed your from Australia dude or shall i call you mate?, What ever you perfer.

Ok, well in that case seeing as I fight against guys that have won the SEA Games, guys that are world class level, and national champions several times over, does that mean I can say I fight at an international level? Despite never having been in an international tournament or fight?

Then why did you tell Artikon that you lied?

    Were you lying about lying?

Sparring does not fighting in a bout.

Kickboxing on a professional level means that you are a professional. Even if you've sparred professionals, you are still an amatuer.

So, essentially, you are either guilty of lying, or being too stupid to understand basic English?

Which one do you want to admit to?

By your logic, I am on the level of a professional MMA fighter, a Kyokushin world champion, and a World Cup Soccer Champ!

I am not the one making claims.

    You are.

Thus you need to prove them.

I don't think so either. He has shown he is incapable of answering simple questions and dealing with basic logic...such as the understanding that when one makes a claim, it is one's responsibility to prove it.

That's to bad actually. He did make some pretty big claims, but his alleged ATF master . . . who if you look at his history of posts he states is Neil Singleton, was a pretty big thing in kickboxing. I personally would have liked to have seen the claims substantiated, but I ain't gonna pull teeth to do it . . . some people simply should not log onto the interweb.

I'm kind of hesitant to mention this, since I really don't want to stir things up. However, I looked on the site for his instructor and though he had a lot of championship belts and titles, they were mostly from organizations/governing bodies that I have never heard of before. After I quit competing in full contact/kickboxing, there was a lot of fragmentation (due to the collapse of the PKA, not because I quit fighting LOL) and I admit that I did not follow the sport for quite a while, but has anyone heard of these?

Even before Etaku destroyed his credibility through his actions, I voiced my opinion (for whatever value it's worth) that if you claim to be a world champion, you need to have won a competition that is truly international in scope and open to the best competitors rather than just an inner-school tounament. I feel that this has been a major factor in destroying both the credibility and market value of kickboxing in particular and martial sports in general. Does anyone know of any (non-Thai) org.'s that legitimately held open, international competition on a pro level besides ISKA, PKA, WKA, and K-1?

What is the market value of an endorsement for addidas of the world middleweight kickboxing champion if every gym/MA school in the world has it's own "world middleweight champ"? When ABC's WIDE WORLD OF SPORTS televised the inaugural PKA World Championships in Full Contact Karate (now mostly known as kickboxing), it was during the height of the "kung fu craze" and it had the hughest ratings that show (very popular in a pre-ESPN era) ever had. This was an incredible debut for a sport. They got some of the best fighters available including Joe Lewis, Bill Wallace, and Jeff Smith among others. And what was the response of the MA community? ABC was swamped by angry calls from MA schools and their lawyers saying "our guys (that no one outside of their schools walls had ever heard of) are the REAL champions". ABC basically told the MA's to "give us a call when you get your house in order" and we are still waiting for that to happen.

Now, in fairness to Mr. Singleton, as I stated before, I was out of the loop for a while regarding sport martial arts. OTOH, one of my two primary instructors was a VP of the old PKA and was a co-founder of the ISKA. Also, one of my oldest friends, team mate and fellow 6th dan under my instructors (it's a very small club) is the head of K-1 USA and Strikeforce MMA, so I've had more exposure to the sport than most. Some others may be familiar with these sanctioning bodies and they may have had a following before they vanished. I did try to look them up on the web and his site was the only source I have seen any referrence to them, though. Still, there is not a lot of info on kickboxing, especially "old school".

Kwan Jang, thanks as always for your informative posts from your experiences. I always like hearing about the olden days . . . not saying you are old by any means :D

The one thing I would like to mention is that although I haven't had much experience with tracking circuits and kickboxing organizations I was able to pull up information on Master Singleton, and some of his stuff looked to be supported by the ISKA, take it for what it is worth.

I would however like to steer conversation away from Master Singleton as I don't believe that his creditials or accomplishments have any significance to this thread or the claims that etaku has put forth, or for that matter to the actual topic of the thread . . . which I have long since forgotten. Master Singleton has also, from my research, had a very serious stroke in the last year, so out of respect I ask that we keep his name out of this thread. Thanks :)
