Hello Everyone, I have recently had to move and so leave my original school (though I still go back whenever I am in the area to brush up on my TKD). For the past three months I have been traing in various other styles including Shotokan Karate. When doing the Kata in Shotokan the practitioner is supposed to drop down into a stance on the first move the keep moving at that level throughout the entire Kata (i.e. not come up). In the ITF series of patterns is this the case or does the practitioner move in a sine wave motion? Many Thanks, Alexander
