An Ecellent read... i would say more but i have my hands full atm.. i will write more later.. but that was a great read overall...
Although I have never been in the bujinkan. I have done all these things. And I guess I am a sheepdog. I say this because back in 1996 I joined the marines. Some what to get money for school. But in my own way to leave this world I hope just a little bit better than I found it. I did it so that you would not have too, and I feel deep with in my being it was the best thing I have ever done in my life. The sad thing is that post is not that far off from the truth. To many people take for granted that the military or the police or the fire men will be there. But the the questions is what would you do if they were not. And I pray you all never need to know what that is like.
The best thing I can think of in regaurds for "preparing" is you to "go with the flow" Its very important to adapt, not just to the next punch, but to the next challenge life throws at you.
this post reminded me of a quote, sorry can't remember where from (as such this is paraphrased from memory); 'The universe permits us to learn from countless mistakes as we walk through life; Until we make the one which kills us' ---- that said, we shouldn't believe we can only learn from our own mistakes... ---- I'm glad that one wasn't your last, snake.
