I did a few sample classes with Shaun back in 1993. In the end I didn't join because it was inconvenient to get to and clashed with my Karate training, but my impression was that the training was good. In those days you couldn't just join a class - you had to do a number of lessons taught by a senior student at the side. If they were happy with you at the end of the trial period they would invite you to join.

Shaun used to write for Combat magazine in those days.

I last met Shaun at Seni at Birmingham NEC a few years back (2007?) when we were both helping at the Combat Magazine Group stand, he seemed a very nice guy.

Very impressed with Shaun's wing chun (like I'm in any position to critique lol) he was there at my first assessment in 2008, did a spotaneous three hour seminar afterward, pretty cool guy, kicks ass at what he does. You could do a lot worse than him if you wanna do wing chun :) You don't get to bodyguard Jackie Chan if you can't make your shiz work, either.
