Hi, could you guys please name all lineages/branches of martial arts that claim Northern Shaolin, other than the stuff they teach at the Shaolin Temple today? That includes all those styles/lineages that do not call them self Shaolin, but claim to come from the Northern Shaolin Temple. Any rare family style that has recently been made public for example, family styles that has not been made public, or anything else you could think of.
Greetings, I doubt such a complete list would be possible. Shaolin's influence is too mythologized in too many styles. Also, I have heard of Northern styles of Kung Fu, but not the designation of Northern Shaolin before. But I am not that knowledgeable on these matters. So I am curious if others here know about that.
