Shadow boxing resistance band

    I’ve not tried the resistance band, but it looks fairly promising.

    I have used weighted gloves and was unconvinced. They obviously add resistance, but don’t train speed (you end up training to punch slower). So I’d hazard a guess that the Everlast bands are better.

    However, I’m happy to bow to others’ greater expertise if I’m wrong!

    How do you shadowbox? In front of a mirror or free style? There are alternatives to weighted gloves, of course but a lot of people just add weight or resistance without being able to hit a target. Since you're not hitting the bag your target isn't there. Adding weight makes sense but only if you're shadowboxing to learn precision and accuracy, which seem more important to me than lifting mass with instruments. You could wear a whole weighted vest, but without accuracy and precision you would be hopeless. In that case there's no real difference between the products other than your personal budget.

    Just my take.
