I'm certainly interested, but have a question. Having absolutely ZERO experience in this field what should I expect? Is it more sensible to get at least an introduction before hand? I was interested at trying a bit of Judo (before anyone leaps on that I am purely interested in Judo due to the sport side ). Any tips for the grappling newbie thinking about going along?
Right, I'll see if I can make it up, though I don't relish the idea of another fourteen hour drive in one day. If I'm coming up I'll let you know ahead of time so that you can stock up on caffeinated drinks, okay?
Ooh, Mini Map meet in the makings. I'd be happy to show me ignorance on the ground in such illustrious company. Especially so cheap. Anyone else?
All levels are welcome. It'll basically be a bunch of guys having a roll (a few who want too might be hitting each other too), sharing moves & training methods, chatting and generally having a good time. When trying something new previous experience is often of benefit for faster progress, but not essential. Every one has to start some where. Judoka are welcome. If you're gonna train bring a bottle of water, a towel, suitable training gear and perhaps a notepad as it's a great opportunity to learn and make contacts. Leave your ego at the door and enjoy. woo hoo Meeting more MAPer's & rolling on the ground with sweaty men Always a good thing, Think any of your lot will be coming up Yoda. There's space at my place if they need it
Hey Levo... if I can swing it can I come up? LilBunnyRabbit - can I cadge a lift? Know anyone who might wanna fight me? I didn't get many takers last time - guess there afraid to hurt me or summink?
If you can get down to Woking or Guildford, then I don't see why not. And I'll fightya quite happily. Of course, this is all kinda dependent on me being able to go. Oh, the cost is several caffeinated drinks, red bull, coffee, whatever for taxi fee.
