    is it really that offensive to post an event as your first message to the forum. if it is i apologize to everyone for doing it, i just didnt see anything wrong in it.

    Nope. It's not wrong or offensive at all (at least to me). But if you post it, then never post anything else, then it reeks of SPAM and looks like you're only interested in advertising, not in sharing with other martial artists.

    i totally agree. i just joined the 26th and that post just happened to be my first. i will be getting on the boards as much as i can and contribute. i look forward to discussing different aspects of the martial arts with all of you soon.
