Just heard former WBO heavyweight champ Corrie Sanders (42-4, 31 KO) was shot and killed during a restaurant robbery in South Africa yesterday. Apparently the robbers shot randomly and Sanders just happened to be hit. Sanders caused a huge upset back in '03 when he knocked out super-boxer Wladimir Klitschko in the second round despite boxing very little in those two years. A hard-hitting southpaw who probably would've achieved more if he had tried to get more opportunities to fight. RIP.
