American Football gets the short end of the stick here, but Bill Walsh was a true innovator and pioneer of the sport in the early 80s, with an influence still felt today, with more than 10 current NFL coaches having learned from his original tree. Walsh died today of Leukemia. He was 75. He will be missed by 49ers fans and football fans everywhere.
