I think that dojo looks promising for kyokushin. Give it a go. Don't they do any empty hand at your FMA school? Like panantukan?
They do practice empty hand. Part of their empty hand curriculum is panantukan, some silat, and some JUN FAN GUNG FU!!!! There is more, I just can't remember it off the top of the dome. I would be content with just training Dog Brothers, but I'm trying to lose weight. And running the treadmill is just so boring. So I thought I'd just find a martial art that can replace running the tradmill for cardio. I don't mind getting hit in the stomach normally, but let's say I'm not as comfortable with it as I used to be because of my big gut. But this place looks like it might be promising. The schedule is super convenient. it's a shotokan place. Just need to make sure they have sparring, and that I get a sufficient amount of cardio in the class. http://memphis.ska.org/class-schedule/
Well it's your shout mate. Personally I'd just stick with DBros FMA and research some S&C, whilst amending my diet.
