How should you rest between workouts? I've heard talk of high repetition active recovery days, but I mean just in general. After working out, does spending the rest of the day sitting around doing schoolwork or sitting at my computer nullify this? Should I be making an effort to go for walks between workouts, or just generally being more active while not exercising? Or is it OK that I'm pretty inactive between workouts?

Stretching once in a while and warm showers can help with recovery.

A light jog after workout will help to remove the metabolic wastes and promote active recovery...but hey, after a hard training day, if you want to kick your feet up...go for it.

Get yourself a MASSAGE. it'll help alot ;)

Also walking or other light intensity activities would also be good i think. Keep the blood flowing, eat protein and be sure to get all the usual necessities from your diet.

i always get that lazy feeling after hard training. Who tries to fight it anyway?
