Do you practise any particular posture from the form as a standing post exercise? Which are some good ones to practise?

I hold different postures based on what kind of Jin I am working on at the time:

Peng - Ward Off, White Crane Spreads Wings
    Lu - Jade Lady
    Jie - Press, Brush Knee
    Ahn - Push Down
Liat - Single Whip, Parting Wild Horses Mane, White Crane Spreads Wings
    Cai - Play Lute

Do you practice anything at the moment?

I do Tai chi but was really just looking for ideas. Can you explain Peng, Lu, Jie, Ahn, Liat and Cai a bit more? Thanks for the suggestions I appreciate it :)

The jin that powers the applications of taijiquan.

By holding these postures, I work on the physical and mental aspects of refining the Jin within the structure.
Essentially, getting a feeling of the power of each of these movements, to provide an understanding basis for further study.

I like these ones, both sides: single whip, play the lute, cockerel stands on one leg, snake creeps down
