I hate having to start these threads but....Damn. The cars were a quirky band..considered new wave early on, but made some great music. Ric also had some great solo music as well. Hope we don't have to start another R.I.P. thread anytime soon.
Saw the cars in concert in Providence Rhode Island, great music, however it was the shorted concert I ever paid to see, 45 minutes. Still liked the group though and Rick Ocasek's solo stuff as well. R.I.P.
