She is thought to be the first women kickboxer to die in the sport. I've seen a few of her fights, what a loss to the sport. My thoughts go out to friends and family.
Yes very tragic. RIP Adrienne Simmons A prime example of how most promoters don't git a rats ass about fighters. They are in it for the money. So cutting corners is the name of the game.
Lets hope her tragic passing forces some legislation regarding the accountability of the promotors. I also hope this does not bring the anti boxing fools to the surface once again. Rest in peace, but not in vain.

RIP very sad news. In the UK I've yet to see a promotion that hasn't had good medical assistance on hand, a real shame they had to scrimp on that.
