Found this site dedicated to exposing dodgy "medical" practices (no, it's not about duck-spotting) http://www.quackwatch.org/ There's some stuff on there about the Atkins diet and magnetic therapy, both of which I think may have been discussed on MAP before, but I found the article on reflexology particularly interesting since I recently had quite a positive experience with that particular alternative therapy. I suppose the lesson is: never underestimate the power of the placebo effect... or just coincidence for that matter. Anyone else found reflexology to be anything more than a good foot massage? (Mind you, never underestimate the power of a good foot massage either )
