i just also thought that if paper ould get too hard i could use rags around the bottom, where most of the weight is pressing down on, and then the paper towards the top of the bag where theres less pressure comperssing it so it wont get to hard or too heavy
you can get a slightly smaller heavy bag and fill it with a heavier medium, make sure it doesn't compact too tightly like sand does however so that it has a little give. This way you can condition your shins while you're practicing, and if it's a little hard for everyday training just put on shin pads and bag gloves. -A.
