I believe the group was founded by some Instructors who broke away from the TAGB, though I could be wrong.

I find their position a little confusing, as they are a "Professional Union of Martial Arts" but seem to teach TKD and kickboxing based on TKD but without patterns.

They also feature the FAST Defence stuff, in which dikzzz here on MAP is a senior guy. He seemed like a nice chap when I met him many years ago.

    they don't teach patterns,??
instructor I spoke to said " I teach all the traditional stuff for gradings ie patterns, line work and set sparring as well as the fitness and sport side"

Our local PUMA school, whilst not much to write home about (more down to the instructor than the association) does teach Patterns, though I am not sure of the format, as the Doboks I have seen worn within class have included ITF, TAGB and WTF.

    They teach TKD.

Some PUMA clubs teach kickboxing, based on TKD, but without the patterns.

Have a look at their website :)

PM me (if you can) the school you think we are referring to, and I'll be happy to let you know.
