i'm with narc he's been around the forums i moderate and run and he has picked up on alot of info. i was always taught to aim for 1-1.5g of protein per lb of bodyweight, its always kept me on the straight and narrow growth wise. at the moment i weigh in at 230lbs so = 230g minimum protein per day. your post and harhar's made me smile lol. That is very true, its the discussion on what is more important, calories (from carbs) or proteins. Most people flock to the general though process that protein is the holy grail of muscle growth yet underestimate how much a calorific surplus can actually do for growth as well. when i went on my winter bulk i didnt just jack up the protein levels, i raised the calories as a whole.
