Ok, I turned over on my ankle. Thinking its sprained, but no amount of ice, compression, ibuprofen with paracetamol and a bit of wine is easing it off.

Tried doing the alphabet with my foot and have some movement but it hurts like mad. I'm hyper flexible, so in the past when I've broken and dislocated things I've always had movement though it hurts.

Is it worth heading to the docs? Or am I being a bit of a baby about it?

When did you do it? When I badly sprained my ankle it took several months and lots of physio to heal it. If it's not easing up, you need to go and get someone to look at it - either the doctor or a decent physio.

If you're hyperflexible anyway, it would probably be wise to see a physio for long term management advice.
