    hi

im thinking of joing PKA in uxbridge but before i do can anyone advise it they have heard of them/trained there etc and if there are any other clubs around the uxbridge area i should consider.

I did orginally want todo muay thai but wasnt suceesful finding a club so im expecting kick boxing to be a similar sport/MA.

  2. Hi mate.

I've been with the PKA for a number of years and have found them to be generally great. I'm in the Lieicester region, but the syllabus is standardised. What are your interests? Sparring/competing or getting fit/learning how to defend yourself. In both cases the PKA seems a suitable organisation. There are 2 official PKA tournaments each year for you - NATIONALS and the REGIONALS for your area. There are a few threads on the PKA around here and it might be worth reading these but overall I'd say go for it.

The class is from 7:30-9pm at " Watts' Hall" if I'm right? You've got a decent coach there too!

Another site of interest for you: www.kickboxing-london.co.uk
