WoW! Mikey, I knew you were big but I didn't imagine for a second that you could fit Adam West up your ****.
The only disturbing thing is you look so into it. It bet there was a queue of 30 kids waiting their turn, with loads of days saying, "well I'm not telling him to get off."

These pics are nowhere near as good as most in this thread, but it was so beautiful here today, I dusted off the camera..
WhitePanda I have to say at the top of the page here, the photo with the mist is awesome, I love scenes like that..! Im weird though and like things like fog..etc.. lol.
Thank you. My travel companions were in this small village(not the one in the photo) in Yunnan to see the rice terraces, and the fog there was extremely thick. We waited 2 days for it to get clear, because you could not see 5 ft in front of you. On the third day, when that photo was taken the fog kept rolling in and out every half hour or so, and I thought it would be cool to catch it creeping over the village.
Christmas Time Here are a few new ones. Mother-in-law's Christmas Village Christmas Lights (no snow here yet) More Christmas Lights These were all shot using a tripod and shutter speeds in the 10 second range.
Nice! People getting their holiday cheer going! I remember used to be a block or two in every neighborhood where people went all out to put up lights and nativity scenes etc. Was a big deal as a kid. Funny that.

A bunch from Beamish Museum, Stanley in the north east. 1) - Printing, the old fashioned way. This is probably what they use for their fish and chip wrappers! Printing The Old Fashioned Way by Anth Gaskell, on Flickr 2) - The Pit Village. Looks a heck of a lot warmer than when I was up there the other week! Though the visitors to the museum were laughing about it, I doubt it was a laughing matter at the time. 6 Bairns Homeless by Anth Gaskell, on Flickr 5) - Whim Gin. A what now? One of the many things at Beamish you see and think "what the heck is that?" A Whim Gin was a man- or horse-powered winding engine that the pits used to hoist men and coal before steam engines took over. You see these things all over the place, but in a setting like Beamish they take on a different meaning. It reminds you that history isn't just places and items, its people too. Like how the first image has that leading lines aspect, drawing you in. Second image to be honest was sort of meh, nothing really stood out aesthetically, in my humble opinion. Third image I really like. It just seems so big and majestic. The wide, big white sky mixed with the BW image is a very very nice touch. Me likey.
