Very nice WhitePanda... I love that last one Is that a sunrise or sunset?
I like the peacock. Usually the flowers to the right of the picture would be a distraction, but here they help lift and frame the main subject.
Thanks man, it is a sunset. I live on the east side of the lake so we always get these amazing sunsets in the summer and early fall.
Exactly... usually I'm not a big fan of subjects set dead center of the frame... but it works here with the flowers to balance it. Though you could still very easily add 2/3rds more to the left of the bird to satisfy the rule of thirds proportions and the image would still work.
Ah! Classic China landscape! This must be near Guilin or somewhere in Guangxi province. I'll have to post up... I have dozens of shots from up that way back when I used to lug around a Mamiya 6X7 camera. Lovely landscapes up that way. When you see them you realize that the traditional Chinese landscapes are not exaggerations at all.
Wow. I need to make a trip over to China. Awesome landscape.
I suppose one might also call it.....
EPIC!! I should probably get back to sketching...
Nothing more need be said....
