I need major help because i have been going to see a chiro for a year, i feel a tone better and my posture is better.

What bother me is that my pelvic apparently never stays in place, it gets misaligned.

I am tired has hell to get adjusted, i need to find a solution.

I dont know if anyone has ever had that issue, any exercise that would help stabilize the pelvic.

I will start doing the pelvic tilt tonight but anything else i can do.

My upper back pain is getting better all the time but that damn pelvic.

If i get back in karate i am doomed or is it normal that the pelvic moves around a bit and gets misaligned?

The best thing I've done for my back pain is lift weights.

There's always a point. We all have to die and there's no sense in going out like that and offing yourself.

When it comes to the things you care about, it's always good to have more than one bullet in the chamber . . . .

    Ok

I talked to my chiro he said not to worry its not the bone that is the issue its a muscle that was pulling on the pelvic that cause it to get disaligned.

He said not to worry when there is no degeneration or arthris in the spin there is always hope.

He said that he hasnt given up on me yet and to let is treatment do there job.

Yannick, I don't mean to sound derogatory or mean, but it seems to me that you have a very negative attitude towards yourself. A negative attitude perpetuates stress, which in turn increases tension, in turn increasing neagtivey in your mind/thought and dissociating your awareness from your body, further perpetuating this whole cycle. In other words, a negative attitude will only make your problems worse, stay positive, believe that your gonna get better and have some hope, things will be much easier this way. Hate has no positive benefits.

I got a stairmaster at home i have been told that this would strengten theses areas.

I am not talking about that cheap infomercial stairmaster, i am talking about a real one same has in a gym with program like fat burn, heart rate and more.

I have to buy some ab table so i can work them too, doing crunches i just dont feel them and get bored.

I also do some weights now for legs biceps, triceps and chest the rest chiro doesnt want me to train.

Have you checked out the Egoscue Method? I have a severely arthritic hip, pelvis misalignment, etc. The Egoscue method has done wonders to eliminate the pain. I'm hoping over time, it will permanently address the misalignment. The man's name is Pete Egoscue, he has written two books, one titled "Pain Free", the other I can't find right now. The books teach you how to analyze your structural alignment, then present some exercise routines to address the misalignments. Depending on how you are misaligned, you might add some supplimentary exercises from yoga after worikng with the Egoscue method for a while. There are also Ecoscue Clinics around the U.S. I've done a few sessions, then felt I could work "solo". I'd encourage you to check it out.

    Yannick,
Sorry to hear about your problems with your pelvis. I suggest a nice fat diet of reading up on hips and pelvis and the muscles that are involved in hip mobility and the stabilization and strengthening of the area.

The pelvis is a pretty dynamic piece of bone... it changes it's position constantly... even when lifting weights or doing exercises... it'll often changes it's position during the course of a lift. It's natural. If it's been thrown out of whack to due to injury or overcompensation because of an injury somewhere else in the chain.. you need to be aware of that... and work towards getting your central nervous system back to the way of operating that is was going pre injury... often times this means you need to isolate particular areas or muscles and strengthen them back up. Imbalances cause pain and misfires in the way you use your muscles... imbalance leads to overcompensation and it's a vicious circle from there on out.

If you can't life weights... then I start looking at exercises that you can do at bodyweight without having to have your chiropractor stand by. eg. charge you to stand there while you do them. I suppose some chiro's can get results... but it's always seemed to me that by and large... they really worked clients onto a very long, repeated visit schedule that really was concerned with their bottom line and not necessarily the patients health. The patient often seemed to be lulled into a sense of 'I am helpless to change my condition without my chiro'... which I think is generally speaking... utter nonsense.

You will want to check out the following body weight exercises:

    1) Hip extension with bent knee

    2) Alternating lunge

    3) Lateral lunge

    4) Split squat

    5) Double leg suppine lift off of floor

If you want a solution to your problems... you're going to have to put more effort into it than just going to the chiro. You need to get up to speed on how the glutes (your ass) and the hamstrings, adductors, abductors, abdominals and lumbar all work together here. It sounds complicated... but just bite it off in bitesize pieces. Once you understand what muscles are at play for most of the above exercises... you have a good starting point to begin strengthening and conditioning your body.

This is all stuff that can be done at home/park/living room without fancy memberships... or any of that... just get on the web... or down to the local library... look up examples of the exercises I suggested and give them a go. You need to plan out a schedule that you begin on a regular basis if you want to see results in terms of hip mobility and strength.

When you get to a point where you're comfortable with those at bodyweight almost all of them can be done with weights or bands to make them harder.

Thanks Terry you want to know the weirdest thing, my pelvic on x rays is fine, seems that there is a muscle pulling on it that causes it the musalignment, i dont know maybe over time it will get better, i will do ab work a bit more and streching.

Try getting a core stability class somewhere - or a good physio or trainer who knows core, buy you own swiss ball - you will surprise yourself how quickly you get some relief.

If you need an Ab Routine google Legendary Abs for some info, I'm pretty sure one of the first hits is the full routine in pdf form.

By the way, how is your pelvis misaligned? The most typical alignment problems are posterior and anterior tilt, from the sound of it you have a posterior tilt in which case it would be worth doing some work for the hamstrings too if you don't stretch them regularly.
