Man it's like I keep saying, it's not how hard you hit it's how you hit. You gotta look for that quick snap/whip of the head.... and remember kids, finite element simulations of the brain show that rotational movement of the head leads to KO more easily than simple up/down. If you need proof just go look at that link again .
Sweet Dreams! One of the best KO I've ever seen seen. Sweet. Glad I didn't receive that punch. You could almost seen the guys seeing stars as he went down.
Yeah I know, my post was just made in a state of excitement at such a good example of how to KO someone - not preachy or instructional or whatever.
Yow! That was a nice KO! You have to wonder why the ref even bothered to count past 2 before checking to see if he was still alive though.
Indeed - very poor to let him just lie there IMO. He obviously wasn't about to leap up and continue fighting.
He actually pulled his hand slightly back exposing his face to a shot before letting rip, it was as if the guys punches weren't doing anything to him. I must have looked at it at least half a dozen times from the reply, it doesn't even look like he hit him on the point near the ear, more of a cheekbone hit, but the guys head whips back so quick it looks like he touched him, and then he just passed out...good ko. If you watch him, he is still heavily breathing after he gets knocked out, he must have been knackered.
Naw, Herol Graham had a GOOD chin. Just that Julian Jackson pound for pound is one of *the* hardest punchers of all time. He didn't just TKO people, he put them down and out for the count.
