I'm realizing I may be in error referring to it as 56. 56 is a reference to a Chen form, that I also learned from my first Shifu that I no longer do. I am looking to see if I can find a video of it to link. All I can say is it is a Wu Competition form done that Li Bing Ci has taught. I will look and see if I can find it. So far all I have found is the picture of the DVD from Li Bing Ci that has the same form My fist shifu was not claiming to have learned it from Li Bing Ci, it is just the same form

I could do the Yang Long form, short Dao form and 1 fast form and not sweat. Do just part of the Wu form 8 times and I am sweating.

Dealing with knee issues and have been diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever...again...back on the meds Once I get back on track I will be posting here again. Will say I am still working with Sun and Wu taijiquan and its all good

How I can get sick when I am on antibiotics for the tick stuff I don't know...but I was sick this morning.... and I will save you all the gory details. However I decided to not take this lying down.....literally.... So I got up and did a short joint opening qigong form Then I did a 20 minute 5 Element qigong form Then I did a little Silk Reeling from Chen Taijiquan and tea cups from Baguazhang Then later I did a few Wu style Qigong forms I was feeling pretty good after that, not 100%, but much better than this morning. And now I am going to my basement Guan to do taijiquan
good on you for keeping active. Antibiotics has nasty side effects, I've been on them long term many times I hope you get off them soon.

Made a mistake yesterday Walked from my office to the post office, 7 blocks, in the oncoming polar vortex. Had on a waist length down coat First the cold to my hips. Arthritis related Then as I was crossing a street a bus was coming down the hill looking like it had no intention of stopping at the red light so I had to run to get out of the way. I was told by an MD a while back not to run anymore due to arthritis in hips and knees That is when my hips started to seize up Hobbled the next 3 blocks to the post office and stayed in there until my hips warmed up Then limped back to my office. Hips hurt last night, kept waking me up. Wife did acupuncture on them this morning and they felt a bit better This evening they were driving me nuts. I'd sit down and when I get up I could barely walk for a few seconds and then they were just plain stiff. Decided I needed to do something so I did my Yoga routine I am calling geezer yoga. After I was done I felt a bit looser so I decided to do something I had not done in awhile, a shoulder stand. Once I got in the shoulder stand, all the pain and stiffness went away. I held it for only a few seconds, about 30. and then I was done and stood up. The pain was still there while standing, but no where near as intense as it was prior. Not that it is anything strenuous, remember it is called geezer yoga, but here is the routine if anyone is interested one arm up side bend right and left 3 times both hands about head side bend - hold Mountain > hands above head back bend > forward bend > chair pose, repeat 3 times Warrior 1 Warrior 2 Triangle pose 5 star pose wide leg forward bend Supported half moon pose Repeat on other side Dolphin plank Dolphin pose Bridge 3 times Leg stretches savasana Shoulder stand, this was not part of geezer yoga until this evening Did not do Yang taijiquan or Wu tonight to avoid stressing hips and knees Did Sun style short form 2 times Think I will be doing Geezer yoga with inversion in the morning too
Well..... once again proving I am a recovering Xingyiquan addict with no resistance what-so-ever to outside influences Been coming accris a lot of things about Xingyiquan of late and I once again prove I have no resistance to it.
