Good day, I want to begin some type of fighting technique, and I figured that I should start with kickboxing because I hear that it is physically demanding. I am in pretty good shape am quite flexable and am naturally good with my legs. Mainly I want to learn something that is useful and eventually I think that I would move to a martial but does anyone agree or disagree that kickboxing is the way to go?

    alex_000 You talking to me?

If you have energy withing you and like to kick and punch stuff a lot , KB will be good for you.

Being in good shape and flexible is a huge advantage for kick boxing. It's pretty useful too because of the way KBers train. The things you'll learn are very important for any MA (keeping the right distance, retaliating, having a rythm when fighting, get hit without backing off or being afraid)

Go for it , do your free class. If you don't like it walk away.
