Can it be achieved in life or only at the moment of physical death after following a life according to the Noble Eightfold path (assuming that the adept has became a Bodhisattva)? Hmm...I read Burmese Days, and from that I got that Nirvana is Utopia? If so, it's impossible to acheive Nirvana in our physical reality. Each person would have to have his own universe that's tailored to be perfect for him. I don't belive in multiple-universes. Course that's talking about everybody. But it'd be the same if only one person were trying to acheive Nirvana: Theres a dude. The dude has a best friend. The dude would be completly misreable without his best friend. So if he wants to reach Nirvana, he'll definatly need his best friend there. BUT, his friend has a dog who the first dude hates. The friend loves this dog as much as he loves the dude. Obviously, there can't be one Nirvana: the dude would want his friend to be there but not the dog; but the friend would have to have his dog there or HE'D be misreable. I think I'm mixing up Utopia and Nirvana... V.V
