Oh yes, I remember that mistake from his original "Ninja" book series introduction. Or was it his "History and Tradition" introduction?

I am fairly certain that if you ask the mods to ban your account, you wouldn't be able to log in anymore, which would be the same as having it deleted. I get that you can't help yourself, but you're here by choice, not because you can't physically get out.

    Denial is stage 1 I guess :)

    :D

How can you say such nonsense. He said it was obviously the same ....
If that is obvious, then obviously you can't be right.
    That should be obvious.

I guess that hayes maybe extrapolating the Yaiba (Cutting edge of a sword/blade) to "To" sword to make TSD

    Gary

To is sword whereas yaiba is specifically the blade edge (i think)

    They are separate characters

He can obviously use it if he wishes but it is not the nin character as you stated.

Radicals though? Dunno if thats the right way to look at it. Nin is made from 3 radicals not 2

Yes, we are looking at the kanji for yaiba (刃)because that's the one that's used to compose nin(忍). You're erase-fu is up to par! One does wonder why Hayes chose to make many of the decisions he did in his martial arts career, but red gi's and gold belts fit in well with the other strange things one sees. It's only sensical that he called it Toshindo.

Looking at the video it's amazing that after all these years, the numerous times his stuff has been torn apart and discredited, there are still people who will tell you how great he is and how effective his art is. It is really mind boggling.:dunno: Some people either have too much personally invested to see the truth or don't want to let go of their dreams.:bang:

    He's street effective
He know's the real ninjutsu(though not the kanji oddly)
    His taijutsu is great
    I saw his aura
    He charged my vjara
The godai is an ancient ninja paradigm

The excuses people stoop to in order to defend the man instead of facing the reality that his taijutsu sucks, he doesn't have the faintest clue about ninjutsu or mikkyo, his Japanese is at about a pre-schoolers rate, and he has been pulling the wool over gullible student's eyes for decades.

    End of rant.

He is definitely not teaching Ameri-do-te. No kill face.

Yes it is strange and it appears he really wants to *be* a ninja.

Personally I like how he points to the text in the book he is holding (that we cannot read or see) almost as confirmation for the things he is whispering about.

It's obviously in the book duh :p

This is funny but what's even more funny (and maybe a little sad) is he has something like 150 videos posted on youtube.

    Here is a gem

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIHZ2VPZNno&feature=channel"]Footage of the boys and I training before you tube part 2 - YouTube[/ame]

but in all fairness he does state:

"This is footage of the boys and I training between the years of 2005-2007 before you tube. Even though I am the instructor I train on the floor with my guys and girls to keep up my skills. Disclaimer-This video is for entertainment purposes only."
