    I could try to translate the icelandic for you, det er ikke så forskjellig fra Norsk ;)

    The dudes probably practice what we call re-enactment, using rules that requires roughly 3mm thick edge on unbreakable modern replicas, and with hand-protection as the only safety-requirement. As a thanks, I can provide a christmas-gift to you; 3 of my friend in truely christmas-weather! Their equipment is 13 century stuff; from the time most of the viking-litterature was written (that is 200 years after the viking-time ;) )
