Have you thought about it yet?? Have a think & post your most ambitious....creative as you like. And some serious ones too if you like.
Lose excess body fat Get bulked up. Become a qualified TKD instructor. Pass my driving test. Enter atleast 7 tournaments, and preferably win something
Get back into shape. '04 has been a terrible year for me from a fitness pov (study, exams, flying to see family, engagement, marriage, moving cities & a new job sort of got in the way).
Im going to give up bloody smoking :bang: I think I have said that for the last 10 years and I do give it up but the mongrel addiction keeps pulling me back. But this year is gonna be different.
Hmmm...you are lucky you know who that is. I feel torn in so many directions in so many roles - I can't figure our who I am sometimes. Maybe that should be my resolution...figure out who I am.
Show my teachers that it IS possible to get good grades without doing ANY homework. Another good one is to talk back as much as possible and still be the teachers' favorite kid. (Definitely does not apply to MA teacher) I get so bored.......
Tell your teacher!! maybe the key is actually to study more so you can jump grades and sit some exams a year earlier than usual...
but then high cshool would end faster, and it's so awesome. I kinda like the idea of being 1 of 5 freshmen in a class full of juniors anyways. I don't have the patience to study, just gets so monotonous, you know?. Everyone says ima have troubles in college.......High school rocks though so itll be worth any changes I have to make when I move up. That whole thing looks illiterate but oh well.
Last year, I resolved I would drink more. Ironically, that was the year I quit drinking. I think this year I'll resolve to make less money.
Well I suppose it's going to be the same as this year with a few of them lol I've lost 4 stone in weight in 10 months and I'm going to try and lose the rest so I can get back into the fighting weight I used to be in. To move out of when I am at the moment. To use the gifts I have more wisely. To become a reiki master/teacher. Become the person I'm meant to be instead of hiding in fear. I think that's enough for me to do this year lol. lisa xx
I intend to do more interesting things next year. Last year I hardly did anything worth mentioning. I'm going to try and enter as many Judo comps as I can, and also, hopefully try and win something... and learn to drive
I think I will stick with two I made for this year: keep up with my MA training and keep fit. One new one I hope I can stick to is to get less injuries. My dad has given up on resolutions. Around 7 years back he made the resolution to get fit. On the 2nd of January, he was rushed to hospital and ended up having open-heart surgery a week later. Needless to say, no more resolutions for him in case he does it again.
Get a job I'm at least vaguely qualified for and interested in Learn to drive Start lifting weights Fart in more lifts (elevators for you Americans) Fart less when in the prescence of my girlfriend (it only leads to trouble) Finish the book I've been writing all year Back up said book and everything else I want to keep on my hard drive more often - it's annoying when it crashes and I lose everything Improve my temper Swear less
1) Give up alcohol for January (Done this for the last three years now). 2) Try not to overtrain by applying the "quality not quantity" rule. Hopefully get ill and injured less. 3) Get up to date on all my Microsoft certifications so that I've got evidence of my skills. 4) Take more time to chill out and play on my X-Box. 5) Stop hoarding things (Already started chucking things out).
