new to bujinkan

ok so im thinking of taking bujinkan and i heard for self defence its amazing but before taking ill ask a few questions

1) many ppl say that there are tons of fraud/useless skools out there how do i know which one to take

2)are there any physical requirements for taking this?

3) is bujinkan effective against other arts and did it help any1 of u guys against a thief or someone who just looking for trouble

i wud rlly appreciate if u all cud help me

Hmmm...., I'm not sure I know a single person who started training in the Bujinkan simply for 'self defence' reasons. Not that I know many people mind.

If this is your main reason for wanting to join, you may want try another art.

 

Spelling can be your friend.
I admit I am rather old fashioned this way.

What do you want from a martial art?

 

self defense better fitness better character

 

and something to combine parkour with

 

Go do Boxing and Judo and some self defence specific training.

 

It's so easy to sort out, if only someone would get in the ring where anything goes and sort the bad apples from the real deal, we could just stop beating the dead horse that is this subject before we all fall into a coma.

You aint the first to ask this question, it's like a bad obsession on this site, deathmetal, so maybe a quick search through the archives and you might find the answers... But remember that the interwebz is not the best place to go for this information, as chances are all you'll get is double talkin' jive...
