    New CBD Article: The Cross Counter: Where Boxing's "Cross" came from.

    Ever wonder why boxers call a certain punch a "Cross?" What, is it a religious thing? Did some olde timey English dude get mad, back when being "cross" was synonymous with being mad or something?

    Hmm. What is the legitimacy of the article and author? Not challenging it, but I'm curious to know. What they describe as the 'cross' in the old days would be defined as an overhand right now.

    I've republished a good dozen antique boxing manuals and written the only known book on the grappling which was in old school boxing.
