What styles utilize the nekode clawed gauntlets? Is it a chinese or japanese weapon?

 

I thinks its a Japanses weapon used by Ninja, but i could be mistaken.

 

I was looking on a website that sold ninjitsu weapons and it had them, So it probably is a "ninja" weapon.

 

I found some information on the nekode. Apparently, it's a ninja wall scaling tool that can double as a set of bladed brass knuckles. I think this is what X-men's Wolverine had his claws modelled from.

 

wolverine's claws I beleive were modeled after Idian claws weapons.
