I'm planning a trip to the new Bujinkan Hombu but haven't been to Japan in 10 years so I'm foggy on all the lines leaving Narita. What is the best line to take for Noda, and are there hotels within walking distance of the dojo? Thanks for any input.

Most people stay at the Kashiwa Plaza in Kashiwa city. You can get a bus to Kashiwa direct from Narita.

I find http://www.jorudan.co.jp/english/ very usful and Jorudan have an English transit App which is very easy to use and great for getting around, you might need to make sure your phone is unlocked for Japan, there's loads of wi-Fi spots around now.

Noda using the Narita/Joban rapid line is about 80mins.

The metro app is brilliant for navigating Tokyo, you need to download the city in advance

It seems a lot more confusing than it is . I thought it was going to be terrible. Couldn't be further from the truth.

All your ways of getting to Noda are wrong.
