I thought some of you may like to see some excerpts of the teachers taking part in the " Nakazono Aikido Memorial Event " Oct 2007. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4l5i1SR9NPc"]Masahilo Nakazono Aikido Memorial Event - YouTube[/ame]
Nice macker thanks for sharing. Haydn Foster and Henry Ellis remind me of my former teacher and Ken Williams of the Ki Federation. Just something about the way they move.
I know but the similarity is really striking. Especially when you consider that by the time I started Aikido Williams had gone down such a different path to the others. Even the Ki Aikido he was teaching was deviation from what Tohei was teaching. It just made me think of when I first started Aikido and the things I was oblivious to then which are so obvious now. I would have expected a bigger difference. But then again, I see the same thing with my own former teacher and some of his more experienced students.
Excellent. Thank you for posting this. I am a student of Phong Sensei. He was most pleased and honored to participate.
