As some of you may know, I went to a judo tournament yesterday. It went pretty badly. I weighed in a 65.8kg which was well and good. The next day at the tournament I find out that all of my opponents were gold and silver medalist at national juniors. When it came time to compete three of my fights ended within 30 seconds, and the fourth went for three minutes and showed me just how terrible my cardio is. I will upload videos later. Frankly that was an embarrassing weekend. Edit: VIDEOS! well done for competing! what do you think was the main issues in the first 3 fights? just relatively less competition experience compared to your competitors or somethings else?
Although I've never fought at competitions, the interclubs that I've done really give you a wake up all when it comes to cardio. Props for stepping up to compete and I'd love to see the videos.
It was the my relative in experiance when compared to the compedators, and my lack of commitment to the throws, in my opinion.
