I just heard this one the other day and whenever I hear James Blunt on the radio now I start singing these lyrics by Weird Al (.... the beginning is funny ... when he sings "my life is brilliant" and there's a long pause) My life is brilliant Your life's a joke You're just pathetic You're always broke Your homemade Star Trek uniform Really ain't impressin me You're suffering from delusions of adequacy You're pitiful. You're pitiful. You're pitiful. It's true Never had a date that you couldn't inflate And you smell repulsive too What a bummer being you Well you just can't dance And forget romance Everybody you know Still calls you farty pants But you always have a job Well, I mean As long as you still can work that Slurpee machine You're pitiful. You're pitiful. You're pitiful. It's true You're half undressed Eatin chips off your chest While you're playin Halo 2 No one's classier than you la la la la la la la la la la la la ...loser You're pitiful. You're pitiful. You're pitiful. It's true Your dog would much rather play fetch by itself You still live with your mom and you're 42 Guess you'll never grow a clue Well it just sucks to be you
True life parody song http://www.lifeaftercoffee.com/2006/06/14/my-cubicle-song-lyrics/ Yep, been there before!
Anyone heard of Dread Zeppelin? They play reggae versions of Lead Zep songs with an Elvis impersonator on vocals, actually really good. love weird al's songs, i have a load of them although apparently a few aren't actually done by him, they've just been randomly attributed to him I love the song Jedi Knight (the parody of american pie with lyrics about star wars episode 1), and ebay is excellent as well. Chris Moyles (a BBC radio one DJ for those of you not in the UK who don't know him) also did some brilliant song parodies back in the days when he was on in the afternoons, i especially liked his version of stan by eminem which he recorded for christmas, "stanta" *edit* also just remembered richard cheese, he does jazz versions of famous rock/rap/metal songs such as baby got back, enter sandman and get down with the sickness, some of them are very funny
Hayseed Dixie (say it as if it were AC/DC) They do old rock classics in the style of country music. Very funny.
