    Why was it that back in the day, some of the great black fighters like Henry Armstrong and Ray Robinson got title shots while others such as Charley Burley and Llyod Marshall and Kid Cocoa didn't? What kind of racial politics decided that?

    And why do you assume it is racial politics and not the best fighters or some other factor?

    You better make a strong case for your argument before throwing terms like racial politics around.

    All the fighters you mentioned were avoided by black fighters as much as they were white fighters, you do realize?
