So what's out there? Small clubs, big clubs I care not. Need to know the facilities, whether they're rated by folk and of course the cost Any help will be gratefully appreciated
long time no see a boy from this place tapped me out in the last BJJ comp I was in so they must be good facility's look top notch anyway. http://www.mmaliverpool.com/#
Im now teaching kinetic punching for MMA,thats 30% harder than a boxers punch and Im in Hawarden(near wirrel) and Ive recently been teaching the kinetic/shockwave punching at shotton ABC ,in fact I may be down there today just got to check if the guys are there, heres more info Hi Karl, unfortunately we don't allow people to publish email addresses etc on MAP, so if anyone is interested in training with you they'll have to PM you. We also don't allow free advertising I'm afraid, so if you've something to sell you need to contact Aegis to arrange payment for an advert Mitch
That's the gym on the dock road by Costo I think. Good to here its held in high esteem. Know the prices & facilites there so we're stating on a high note They do 'women's bootcamp' there, whatever that is. Who's up for sending Frodo to that on a reci?
If it was Flintshire Karl I'd be sorted. I still talk to Russ all the time and there's training for me anytime I can make it. This thread isn't for me but for a long displaced family member. Thank you though, might pop in one day Do you know Glyn? He teaches MT in Hawarden I think??
Your always welcome mate, the kinetic punch cant be thrown in Muay Thai gloves because of the thumb position, but it can in MMA gloves, but I don't think ive meet Glyn yet? cheers
He'll be jumping the train from the Wirral so it might be difficult for him in L15 but the place looks great
Too late, I've already trained there in the past! It's pretty good. Team Kaobon is also great. Their luta livre coach is excellent. Another option would be Next Generation at the bottom of Mount Pleasant, Paul Rimmer recently got his BJJ black belt and Rosi Sexton trains there. http://www.nextgenerationmma.co.uk/ Paul runs classes in Birkenhead on a Monday and Wednesday too It used to be no-gi BJJ Monday and Wednesday 6-7pm and MMA Wednesday 7-8PM Classes are here (and I'm hoping to start training there again soon): http://www.lcumac.co.uk/
That was the club I was hoping to remember the name of Should of remembered as my ex-next door neighbour trains there. Do they have a weights room?
It's 2 years since I was last there, but from what I remember there was a weights section, along with a few cardio machines, a matted area and some heavy bags.
