    My students will recognise me by build, colouring and clothing. :)

    I think you need shorter arms! :D

    You could try doing static holds/weighted holds in the top position.

    tried, can't really pull my entire body up yet, but now that i think about it i could fully flex my elbows and pull myself up using only my back muscles (or at least fail spectacularly while trying).

    also if i had shorter arms i'd be a t-rex. ~50 cm from wrist to the tip of my clavicle :p

    Yes, if you treat it sort of like a reverse plank and really work on static contractions of your scapulae (back and down) and holding it for the 'time under tension' effect, you might get some benefit - kind of the like the way some people advise a static hold in the top position of a pull up. It might also help with postural issues.

    I'll video some of my RFD stuff tonight because I think a few of my log followers (can I call them fans? Just once please?!) are probably struggling with my poor descriptions of things.

    Also my legend pull ups are nearly at the video-able level.

    I'm upstairs in my weights/gear room. The dog is barred from climbing the stairs as she collapsed on Monday and temporarily couldn't walk. Still don't know if it was a slip and torn muscle, or a full on seizure. To be on the safe side she's on enforced rest.

    Thanks Simon.

    She got treatment for both possibilities from the vet. The speed at which she's walking, and the fact she's not fussing about not going for walks, seems to indicate a seizure. Just hope it's a one off.
