Well he choreographs some of the fights - watch the bonus material on the DVD, very interesting stuff. Does anyone else get the irony of a Chinese WuShu actor playing a Japanese swordsman

I take it a Darn Jian is a chinese sword

 

I think the reason the Katana is now the cool sworsman`s blade of choice is probably Highlander.

 

For those of us with a bit of culture, it's because of Toshiro Mifune in movies like Yojimbo, Sanjiro, Thorne of Blood, etc

 

How practical would Blades sword be, it doesn't have much of a hilt on it!?

 

And what is this obsession with titanium swords? Ooh, a titanium acid etched sword.... wow!

Titanium may have a good strength to weight ratio, but so does steel. And its easier to forge! And that sword wasn't titanium anyway, unless it was chromed or nickel etched, which you generally don't do to titanium, something to do with its electro-potential!

Just a note that the Matrix Reloaded will open simulanteously around the world. So if it opens here in the US at 12am then depending on the time difference where you live you might catch in the afternoon.

Has anyone see the short film "The Flight of the Osiris"? Supposed to have some backgrond on the martrix i think.

I'm seeing Matrix Reloaded tonight at 10pm. Thats two hours away...cant wait! The twins look scary as hell!

 

The fight scene between one of the twins and Morpheus inside the car has got to be one of the coolest scenes in the movie.

 

I just saw it then, and all I have to say is... WHOA. I mean, HOLYS#!!!

I left the cinema both speechless and breathless. damn..... My head won't stop spinning from it........ whoohoohooo!!
