None, not this year at least - I have attended previously, (pre-covid) and am still on Jerry's mailing / invite list, but was unable to attend this year due to my club hosting their own event. Travess
Hey @Mitch since I'm now approach bat mitzvah age on MAP, I'd like to really help in keeping the community alive so let me know what I can help out with!
I think the odds are looking good for a meet this year, I'll chat with @Simon and like planning a heist we'll start putting the team together
Mitch and I spoke earlier in the week and we'll try and get something organised in the next couple of weeks. Mitch will give me a date for the meet and I'll go about getting the instructor line up.
Sadly that is roughly 3,300 Miles (5310 KM) from me. If I'm ever in the area at that time, I hope to be there.
We're looking at High Wycombe again, dates were discussed this week actually, confirmation soon hopefully
I tried to make it work for summer and I just couldn't do it, which is gutting. I'm now thinking September might work.
Very much in my sights. I just couldn't make a date work this time, but I get my calendar for next year soon and the MAP Meet is top priority!
Is it an idea to let people join through Zoom, for the folks that are really far away? Maybe I'm saying something weird
Not weird at all and it is something we can do. We may have to charge a smaller fee and give the link to those that donate, as it is a charity event. We also have several sessions going on at the same time, so would probably have to focus on just the one session at a time. It is possible though.
