MAP Meet 2022

    Mitch and I would both like to get another MAP Meet underway in 2022.

    No dates or instructors yet, just a willingness to get it done.

    Zaad has been in contact and he particularly wants to help drive this forward.

    If you are new here or have been around for ages, but never attended a meet, then you really should come along.

    I can guarantee you'll make new friends, laugh a lot and train with some incredible likeminded martial artists.

    The event is usually in the summer months and if you would like to teach a session then please do get in touch.

    All you'll need is instructor insurance.

    Hi Simon, great idea; happy to run a boxing session as before. My view for what it is worth; is that next summer people might be looking to escape overseas etc who has not managed this year! Maybe May or September . Funny only thinking about the MAP meet a few weeks ago!

    Hey Simon, have you discussed how you are going to keep it safe- Covid-wise? Or is it too early to get into that detail? Are you going to be outdoors this time? Require vaccine verification for contact? Stuff like that?

    It's one of the very reasons we haven't yet set a date and we will be driven by government guidelines at the time.

    At the time of starting the thread it looked as though we'd be able to hold the meet without issue.

    As it stands in the UK Covid figures are rising and there is talk of further lockdowns, although that is just talk at the moment.

    I still think it'll happen in 2022, but we can't set a date yet.
