MAP Challenge: 1,000,000 pull-ups by 12/21/2012

    On another note, if we had a chin-up bar in the office I'd use it every day. I think all offices should have a chin-up bar.

    Not too long ago i saw a skinny kid doing chins on a tube train showing off to some mates and some girls with them. The bar snapped and he landed on his backside. I have never heard so much spontaneous laughter on a tube train!

    In an effort to save countless pull-up and chin-up bars from being broken as a result of people trying to do thousands of pull-ups to bump up the count closer to 1mil, I have made a small change to the challenge:

    The goal is to do 1,000,000 by THE END OF ZE WORLD!1!! [​IMG]

    Just in case the world does not end, we can just claim we saved it by doing 1,000,000 pull-ups :)

    1 million in a year means a MAP member, somewhere doing a pull up every 31.5 seconds for the entire year...sweet! Also quite hard with less than a few hundred participants.

    And I think this thread will run to nearly 100k posts en-route. Hopefully this won't make Saz cry.

    Anyway, love the idea and I'll start throwing some in - I need an excuse to get regular training in :p.

    I was more worried about countless pull-up bars being broken by people trying to make the count :)

    I expect everyone participating to have some huge biceps by December 2012 haha
