Hakkesho in Japan, i have always been intrigued.
I never really found much info about it there untill i visited the Genbukan website for the first time recently.
OK, i realise i should just begin communication with the Genbukan, but first i thought i would check out if any MAP folks have been exposed to it.
The site says more info coming soon, i gather the site would be up to date with info/merchandise, just wondering if any book etc are available yet also.
    Any info much appreciated.

    Cheers.

Takamatsu Sensei told Sato Kinbei Sensei to go to China to learn about the origins of Jujutsu.

What is it that you want to know?

Hakkesho is just the Japanese pronounciation to the Chinese characters for baguazhang (Chugoku Kenpo means Chinese Fist method).

As for books and videos, there are none as of yet.

I've done a very small amount of it in my training over the years. The forms have a nice flowing quality to them...which you'd expect from Bagua. Honestly though I have very little interest in it over all. However, I don't mind it popping up every now and then. ;)

If you are interested in it, then our line is as authentic as there is.

What are the major differences between this style and the styles usually labeled as Baguazhang in the West?

From what i can gather, The KJJR system of Chugoku Kenpo (Hakkesho/Bagua) has been around for some time now. Maybe around the late 90's or perhaps 2 thousand and something publicaly?
I was hoping some material was available to look at or read.

I guess im interested to see the form. Im supposing it possibly resembles Liang style Bagua from Li Zu Ming.

This video is the only one I know of on YouTube that has a small snippet of our Chugoku Kenpo. It is at the 0:27 mark. BTW, the man in the beggining of your 3rd clip is Sato Kinbei Sensei. ;)
