Sad news, far too many of the original students of Ueshiba have passed. without the dedication and the wiliness of these shihan to travel and locate abroad and teach Aikido many of us may not have been touched by this wonderful martial art.
So another of the original greats has gone. This just reinforces the need for us the current generation of teachers to develop new students as teachers so that Tohei Senseis (and others) legacy continues
Just been watching some old videos of him in his prime what a legend. Still refuse to believe the Joke that is Ki Aikido is his legacy though. Surely after years of solid basics that made him the way he is he never intended on what is left behind
