im looking for light continous open competions in and around the manchester area.im 15 years old and a purple belt. does any1 know of any competions for next year??
I'd advise you to ask your coach. I think there might be some WAKO tournaments that go on in Manchester but I'm not too up to date tbh lol.
There is a light contact tournament in sheffield on the 11th of March. There are 4 areas in that one. There will be the northern university championships on mats 1,2 and 3. On mat 4 there will be FAIRLY matched bouts (light contact) matched on weight and fight experience. What weight are you? You have had 3 fights all wins havent you? Also on Friday the 16th of February is a Full contact fight night which has Light Contact bouts (for under 16's ) on the undercard. Everyone who has attended the night shows in sheffield has mentioned about how fair the matchmaking AND the judging has been. What is your instructors name and contact details? For juniors you can do the following: 2x1mins / 3x1 mins or 3x1.5mins Win or Lose you still get a trophy (and access to the vIP buffet ) as well as the opportunity to have the experience to fight on a big show in front of a crowd. Guess what??? There is NO CHARGE to enter the night show either! PM me if interested!
