Hi, Anyone want to discuss this name and person and why it is so confusing, the name of his art and the whole sordid story? Tree's: http://www.urbin.net/EWW/MA/KF/famtrees.html Pictures are nice and pretty convincing, scroll down and see the one's here. http://www.nyckenpo.com/people of kenpo.htm Gary
Hi, Here is some more information about the person and his art. http://ratuadil.org/psusahx.html Gary
Here is a book that was originally sold for around 3 dollars american. http://cgi.ebay.com/In-Search-of-Ke...41878166QQihZ014QQcategoryZ2228QQcmdZViewItem Gary
Here is another web site that has some information on the Late GM and his list of students. Good information for all I believe. http://kenpokarate.com/origin_of_kenpo_karate.html Gary
And yet another. http://www.kosho-ryu.com/21st_grandmaster/Great-Grandmaster_James-Mitose.html Plus an extra informative talk. Michael Brown, good historian. http://www.e-budo.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7544&page=1&pp=15 Gary
No takers on this subject? James Mitose is a true representation of the Japanese mind at the time of the war. In my humble opinion. They were very loyal, while at the same time very cunning and self serving. Something we see quite a bit in all cultures. It is called Duplicity. It is in the book by Sun Tsu, Art of War. Gary
Here is some information that is hard to find. So I thought I'd share. http://irondragonkarate.com/MITOSE SJ SEMINAR.doc Gary
