ok guys, seriously, i need some surefire ways to stay the hell awake and feel as energized as possible. tommorrows gonna suck. for some reason i haven't been able to get any sleep at all. none. its 2:40....i have to be up at 6....yeah, be out of class at 10, can squeeze in a 3 hour nap til practice, then i've got practice from 2-6. so help! aside from an injection of adrenaline, ideas? come on, surely someone's pulled an all nighter to study or a lan party or something right?
coffee, then stay active. Drink heaps of water and when you start to falter suck on a sugar lolly. Eat a big ass breakky too.
You are feeling very sleepy..... Tekken, get teddy and have a quick nap. Even three hours of sleep is better than none. Have a hot cup of milk with a dash of honey, tuck yourself in and do deep breathing exercises. Just count your breathing for a count of 3, hold for 3 seconds and exhale for 3 seconds...continue until you've lulled yourself into a light sleep. At least lie down and rest your body if sleep doesn't come. Then have a coffee in the morning, a light breakfast (fruits, yoghurt)
Grab some sleep now (assuming it's not already too late ). As Lily says, even a little is better than none. IIRC, your sleep generally tends to go in 90 minute cycles, so tr to get at least three hours, or even an hour and a half. And when you're awake . . . CaFfEiNe!
Get up and move around frequently. Use excuses like popping to the loo, visiting the shop, nipping out for a ciggie / water fountain, etc.
Water fountain? Jumping in one of those would sure wake you up. Don't know how practical coming back from your lunch hour dripping wet would be mind... I would have thought staying active would keep you awake, though I can use training to get me to sleep. Maybe it depends on the level of activity
